This development platform makes it easier for customers to prototype and create solutions for IoT applications, especially by combining it with our Silabs Click Shield and Click boards™. Debugger interfaces to the target kit using the Serial Wire Debug (SWD) interface and ensures easy debugging through the USB Micro-B connector. Silicon Labs Thunderboard™ includes six onboard sensors, a Wireless Gecko SoC for multiprotocol cloud connectivity, 8MB of external flash for over-the-air updates, and a built-in SEGGER J-Link Debugger. The Thunderboard™ represents a complete sensor-to-cloud series of development and prototyping kits for IoT devices that provide all the hardware and software developers need to create battery-powered wireless sensor nodes for the Internet of Things (IoT). We are fully stocked with everything, from sensors and WiFi transceivers to motor control and audio amplifiers.

FreeRTOS is scalable and designed specifically for small embedded systems. FreeRTOSįreeRTOS™ is a portable, open source, royalty free, mini real-time kernel (a free-to-download and free-to-deploy RTOS that can be used in commercial applications without any requirement to expose your proprietary source code). These will be rolled out prior to the November RISC-V workshop. Multiple Operating systems are currently in development for Microsemi RISC-V implementations.
